An important part of being a photographer is having a specific style and specific type of client to go along with that style. There are TONS of amazing photographers out there, which is great, because not everyone will be a perfect match. So choices ARE GOOD. I make no secret that I love animals, especially dogs (and horses, however, unfortunately, the horse/newborn market seems to be a bit slim right now!) and I love to showcase our sessions that include cute pups on our Instagram page. So when this Mama emailed me that she loved my work, especially my work with pups I knew WE WERE MEANT TO BE! Haha I mean how perfect, right?! They love their dogs like family – I’m a dog person. They were hoping to incorporate their dogs with their lifestyle newborn session – I CAN AND LOVE TO DO THIS! It was basically a match made in Instagram heaven.
Did I mention their dogs are the cutest and sweetest dogs around?! Like all pups, they love to lick my lenses and check out all my gear, but I’m good with that – it’s all able to be cleaned 🙂 The best part is how curious and enamored with their new little human brother they already were so it made my job that much easier! Check out Sadie and Kya’s little bro, Parker – he’s so cute. Not to mention this whole family is just perfection. I imagine them lounging around in this chilly January weather with their pups by their side and Parker in their arms – what could be better!
